Assisted Conversion
An assisted conversion is one where a channel or touchpoint played a role in the path to conversion but was not the final click. Reports credit these interactions to reveal their supporting contribution.
Why It Matters
Many channels rarely close the sale but consistently open or advance it, and last-click reporting makes them look worthless. Assisted-conversion data protects budget for the upper-funnel work that feeds later conversions.
Common Mistake
Cutting a channel because it shows few last-click conversions. If it drives many assists, pausing it can quietly reduce conversions on the channels that did get last-click credit.
