Micro-Conversion

A micro-conversion is a small, measurable action that signals progress toward a primary goal, such as viewing a pricing page, starting a form, or watching a demo. It is a step in the journey rather than the final outcome.

Why It Matters

Tracking micro-conversions gives early, high-volume signal about where users engage or drop off, which is vital when primary conversions are rare. They also feed smart bidding with more data points to optimize against.

Common Mistake

Optimizing everything to a single macro-conversion that happens too rarely to learn from. Without micro-conversions, you cannot see where the funnel leaks or give algorithms enough signal.
